For Future Reference!

Wed Dec 3, 2008, 1:00 AM
Please note that I am NOT taking commissions right now but I feel this needs to be posted for reference when I am.

- I DO NOT do gift art unless it's for a VERY good friend. I'm sorry, I can't just go around doing a bunch of free art when I'm kinda living off my earnings with my art.

- I ONLY accept payment by PayPal! I get too many people asking for a commission and when I tell them how much and to send it by PayPal, they quickly respond and say they don't have a PayPal account. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but this is the only way I can do it.

- I DO NOT draw anything adult related. It's never been asked here on my DA account but I thought it should be mentioned. I'm sorry...it ain't happening.

- I will NOT draw any copyrighted characters for commission. Yep this includes anything Sonic or Tails related, Balto, The Lion King, you name it.

- I can ONLY ship items to the continental U.S, in other words if you live outside the U.S I can't do a commission for you that has to be mailed. I can still do you a digital piece I just won't be able to send you a digital copy in high res or a digital badge laminated.

Watermarks

Sat Nov 8, 2008, 4:29 PM
Wow, it's been a while since I've made a journal entry here... O_o

Anyway, I just thought I'd mention a little note. Due to some art theft lately from this site, I'm going to have to start slapping a copyright watermark on my images. So once you start seeing those, that's the reason for the change. I had been meaning to start doing it anyway but never got around to it... so I guess it's a lesson to learn.

Also, thanks for all the new watches and faves! :3

Art Goals

Wed Jun 18, 2008, 10:55 AM
Well, I'm back to work on stuff as usual. This time I've got a lot I want to accomplish from now until next year. I'm working on doing more to sell digital prints myself. It's not that there's a problem with the set up I have here on DeviantART, I just think it'd benefit me as an artist to sell them out of my home. I'm working on saving for both another Wacom tablet, this time an Intuos3 6x8 - I'm about halfway there and then I'm going to be purchasing a laser printer of some sort. In the meantime, I'll be coming up with print piece ideas. My goal is to have everything put in place where I can enter my art into art shows. I MAY try to get a couple pieces or so in the Furry Weekend Atlanta show that comes up next late March. That might be pushing it a tad though.

Also, working on more character references. I need the practice with those as I don't have chances to do those as much as the con badges or even the digital pieces. Also my boyfriend and I are working on some exciting things to implement for the Pawzer Studios website.

Right now I'm still closed for commissions, I'm only accepting them one slot at a time due to the fact that I have a bunch of other real life things on my plate at the moment. After that, I'll open up again for any type of commission.

Another also (lol) name types of animals you'd be interested in seeing in a digital print or other digital pieces. It would help me out :)

Online Store

Hi all!

I just thought I'd post a journal entry about my online store at zazzle.com [link] I have a couple of t-shirts in there, including my first two designs for my "love thought bubble" design series. Right now the dragon and the tiger are up for sale but there will be at least two other designs that will be available soon :)

Commissions

Sat Mar 15, 2008, 5:22 PM
I'm not exactly looking for 100 commissions in my que right now, this is just a guideline.

I'm offering commissions for digital pieces and con badges. Digital pieces are done with my Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS and start at $30, this includes a one character basic background piece at 300 DPI and usually around 8 x 10. A good example of this would be the "Tilt Longtail" piece that I just recently posted. It'll be +$5 for an extra character and +$5 for a more extensive background. Digital pieces can be mailed to you on a CD-R to your address for an additional $2.

The marker badges I do are $20 and are done with Copic multiliners and Prismacolor markers. The digital ones are $25 and done with Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS, just like the digital pieces. Both marker and digital badges come laminated with a badge clip.

As for payment I only accept Pay Pal, I apologize that's just all I can do right now and I can only offer shipping to those of you who are in the continental United States.

Check out my personal website at pawzerstudios.com/commissions for more info!
